Alright people! Sorry for the late update, well I supposed that many of you have seen the latest banlist changes at shriek or duelingdays! If not below here is the list and the thoughts about the latest banlist changes =)
Newly Banned
None
- Now this is quite a nice one, never have all my 5 years of YGO life have I seen a banlist with no banned cards! Thou I would wish for a few cards to be banned, like [Monster Reborn] =X
Newly Restricted to 1
Chaos Sorcerer 「カオス・ソーサラー」
- Mwahahahahahahahahaha! Just when I said that I missed my old deck that was using this card only last friday, it got unbanned this week! lol! Time for that legendary deck to return!
Gladial Beast Bestarori 「剣闘獣ベストロウリィ」
- Okay, [Gladial Beasts] decks might be sort of harder to play now? But I wonder, why don't they restricted [Gladial Beast - Gyzarus] instead? Hmmm... Okay, I can also dis-assemble my [Gladial Beasts] deck already!
Goyou Guardian 「ゴヨウ・ガーディアン」
- This Macdonald Uncle is just too strong! Enabling you to take control of [Stardust Dragon] or even stronger monsters makes this card abit too godly for a level 6, with such a high attack power too!
Zombie Carrier 「ゾンビキャリア」
- Expected! This card boosts up the [Dark Syncro] and [Zombie Syncro] decks way too fast! Oh my god? My [Destiny Diamond Carrier] deck is also affected! Ah!!!
Dark Armed Dragon 「ダーク・アームド・ドラゴン」
- Hmmmmm.... Too gay.... With the return of [Chaos Sorcerer]... Restricted this card to 1 reduces the chances of a one turn kill for Dark Decks?
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary 「氷結界の龍 ブリューナク」
- Lucky I only had 1 copy of it always! Expected that this card would be restricted because of its ability to create several loops in several decks, etc [Zombie Syncro] deck.
Mezuki 「馬頭鬼」
- Same as the above! When combined with [Burial From A Different Dimension]....
Urgent Teleport 「緊急テレポート」
- Enables very very fast syncro summoning~! And also the advance summoning of high level monsters such as the [Emperors] and occasionally a [Obelisk The Tormentor]?
Cards of Safe Return 「生還の宝札」
- Zombie decks now have a lower draw rate! Wait! So is my [Junkyard Assault] deck!
Reinforcement of the Army 「増援」
- Noooooooooo~! Spoils my [E-HERO] decks... T_T... But there is still always 3 copies of [E-Emergency call]~! =D
Newly Restricted to 2
Goblin Zombie 「ゴブリンゾンビ」
- Lots of [Zombie Syncro] hate seen here!
D-HERO Diabolicguy 「Ｄ－ＨＥＲＯ ディアボリックガイ」
- Back to 2 I guess! 3 is just too gay! a level 6 combined with a level 2 tuner = instant level 8 syncro monster!
Wind Emperor Raiza 「風帝ライザー」
- o.O I guess this card being at 2 might be a threat again? Jams draw for 2 turns!
Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest 「森の番人グリーン・バブーン」
- Thou being back at 2 copies, you still can't summon both copies at one go! Why? Check here for rulings!
Destiny Draw 「デステニー・ドロー」
- Lesser draw power for [Dark Syncro] decks , or [D-HERO] decks. With [D-HERO Diabolicguy] restricted to 2 too, this card has lesser uses, unless you have more [D-HERO] monsters to discard!
Gold Sarcophagus 「封印の黄金櫃」
- Power of searching! But can you survive for 2 turns in the currrent meta? Sounds challenging! Don't you think?
Allure of Darkness 「闇の誘惑」
- Expected, since upperdeck entertainment has also restricted this card to 2 copies a deck, with [Destiny Draw] and this card coming together, the draw power of [Dark Syncro] is just too much, making it too fast!
Ultimate Offering 「血の代償」
- o.O, [Black Feather]/[Gadget] rush anyone?
Mind Crush 「マインドクラッシュ」
- Please don't name my [Stargazing Beast Garriz] please! Name more of [Honest]!
Newly Unrestricted/Released from Banlist
Manticore of Darkness 「暗黒のマンティコア」
- [Exodia] one turn kill! True, there is only one copy of [Cards of Safe Return], it is still possible but slow! (collects the pile from below DS's window =X)
Twin-Headed Behemoth 「ドル・ドラ」
- Even at 3 copies.... You can only use this effect one per duel.... (Ignores this pile below DS's window)
Phantom of Chaos 「ファントム・オブ・カオス」
- Lots of monsters to copy! [Chaos Sorcerer], [Dark Armed Dragon], [Judgement Dragon] and etc! (collects this pile too)
Book of Moon 「月の書」
- Not bad for a defensive deck! Combo with the below card! (collects one more copy as I only have 2! mwahahahahaha! =X)
Nobleman of Crossout 「抹殺の使徒」
- Combo with [Book of Moon] for effective results! Killing [Lightlord Hunter -Raikou] ain't a bad idea! (ignores the pile below DS's window as I have too many!]
Alright! The above are my thoughts for the latest banlist! Truthfully though, this isn't the banlist that I like the most, true that it is quite refreshing and some would be happy at the return of [Chaos Sorcerer], but still, in this current meta, special summoning monsters doesn't seem to be that easy anymore. So oh well~ Time to run away from below DS's house with all these cards! Mwahahahahahahaha! See you again desu!
